Nationwide: Recycling Plastic (1971)

Philip Tibenham reports on the problem of disposing of plastic containers. He visits factories which produce plastic containers and asks: If plastics don't rot, how do we dispose of them, so they don’t end up in the sea or countryside? Various solutions such as burning, grinding or fly tipping are explored and Professor Gerald Scott is working on a solution at Aston University.
