The Hurt Mind: Put Away (1957)

The first in a series of five programmes, made with the co-operation of the medical profession, on the problems and treatment of mental illness. Christopher Mayhew introduces the programme and made a brief stay in a mental hospital to gain first-hand information about conditions there. He gives a filmed account of his experience, and describes other facilities at present available for the treatment of the mentally ill.
